The First Basin of Como Lake

The First Basin of Como Lake is an area of the lake in the immediate vicinity of Como and closed by the narrowing between the hamlets Torriggia and Careno. It includes Cernobbio, Moltrasio, Carate Urio, Laglio and on the other side Blevio and Torno. They are all villages in line with the Riva delle Ville of Como: small towns crossed by a main road where beautiful villas stand out, both ancient and important and modern and for VIPs. It is no coincidence that George Clooney, Versace and Shevchenko have their villas here! The villages are picturesque and all of them worth a visit!
